Is there an annual commitment?
All published prices are billed annually. Month-to-month is available at a 15% premium. We don't require multi-year contracts at launch — pilots convert to annual subscriptions after the pilot period closes.
What counts as an "active contract"?
Any contract currently open in GovComply with at least one clause being tracked. Contracts that have been closed or archived don't count toward the limit — you can maintain historical records without affecting your tier.
Can we add contracts mid-term if we exceed our tier limit?
Yes. You can upgrade tiers at any point. We prorate the difference to your renewal date — no penalty, no new contract required. Most customers who grow past their tier do it organically as they win new work.
How many users are included?
Unlimited users per tenant on all tiers. GovComply is priced by contract volume and module depth, not by seat count. Compliance officers, controllers, VP Finance, and subcontract managers can all have accounts without affecting your subscription price.
What does "compliance configuration" cover and why is it separate?
The subscription is the platform. The configuration package is the professional services engagement to map your specific contracts, clause sets, and documents into GovComply properly. Some customers have a compliance officer who can do this themselves — the platform is designed to support that. Others prefer us to run the setup. It's an option, not a requirement.
We already use a compliance consultant. Why would we pay for both?
Most customers don't. GovComply is designed to displace the recurring consultant retainer — the one that costs $80K–$150K a year to maintain continuous compliance coverage. Consultants who were episodic (pre-audit prep, regulatory change response) are often repurposed rather than replaced. If you're not sure how the math works for your specific situation, run the ROI calculator — it's worth 90 seconds.
